Here is the road I am on right now. I have decided I loathe and detest a regular work situation. By that I mean getting up, coming here, doing this, going home. I don't necessarily dislike what I'm doing, but it's not my life's work. Not my passion. And quite frankly, I think that dealing with the people I do is starting to get to me. Our justice system is getting to me. This department is getting to me.

Anyway long story short, I want to start my personal training business at some point, and see if I can someday move from it being an extra-curricular to maybe going half time here, to maybe someday never having to come here again. Not right this minute of course, but I want to start taking steps toward it.

I would primarily like to work with overweight individuals and people with health challenges.

What do you think I should call the business? I am not good at coming up with such things.

EDIT!!! What should I take into consideration or ask myself when trying to come up with a name?

What kind of words, images, messages, trainer would you feel drawn to? Inspire you? What would make you want to work out with me?

Need a little more info... Favorite books, things that inspire you (which in turn may inspire others). A business name should be personal, catch the eye, and be fun!

These are good questions to ask myself. I already have some words clicking around, and I'm going to update the post.

What kinds of things inspire YOU? What kind of trainer would you feel most comfortable with?

I'm going to update the post with this info, it's a good question.

I'd like to work with overweight people and people with health issues primarily. I would love to be a part of someone's healthy transformation.

I need to make one myself, first.

My original suggestion came from thinking about who you are - a succulent wild woman, an amazon, etc. and that led me to goddess names.

After reading the kind of folks you want to work with, maybe something involving a phoenix? You know, something about being reborn?

Besides "Jumpin' Jacks for Jesus"

Me, I'd feel drawn to a trainer who's a lithe blonde and trains in the nude. Doesn't matter what she calls the business... but that's me. :-)

(ok, ok, I'll ponder and think of something!)

I have a gym membership that I haven't used in almost 10 years, maybe a little more. When I think of personal trainers I think of Boot Camp Nazis. LOL Then again I suppose I've never worked with one. Other than that....I'm not good with coming up with names and ideas and stuff like that.

What if I want to make out with you instead of work out with you?
